CO-FOUNDER, PRESIDENT & CEO

Mickey brings over two decades of technical and executive experience across the oil and gas industry, including serving as Co-CEO of Driftwood Energy, where they aggregated 16,000 acres and grew production from zero to >5,000 BOE per day in the Midland Basin. He has co-founded and led two private equity-backed ventures following earlier technical and leadership roles at Pioneer Natural Resources, NuTech Energy, and Halliburton, with deep expertise in field operations, completions and reservoir engineering.

Mickey has a BS in Engineering from Oklahoma State University, M. Eng in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M, and an MBA from University of Oklahoma.

VICE PRESIDENT

John joined the team during the initial fundraise and brings diverse experience across engineering, operations, and asset management. Most recently he managed operations at POGO Resources, where he helped triple oil production through recompletions in an Eddy County, NM waterflood. He previously deployed over $200 million of capital at White Rock Oil & Gas, managing conventional operated assets across five states. John began his career acquiring mineral and royalty interests across multiple basins.

John has a BA in Economics and History from Vanderbilt and an MS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M.

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

Daniel brings a decade of finance and investment experience across upstream, midstream, and environmental infrastructure, including work with family offices and private equity-backed companies on corporate development, A&D, and financial strategy. He previously held roles in investment banking and private equity at Evercore, Intervale Capital, and Simmons Energy, with earlier experience at Concho Resources and KPMG.

Daniel earned an MBA from Rice University and holds dual degrees in accounting from UT Austin.

CO-FOUNDER & BOARD MEMBER

With more than four decades of oil and gas experience, Kyle began his career as a roustabout and rig hand before serving as CFO and then President of Victoria Gas Corporation, and later as Partner and Board Member at Dale Operating during its successful Barnett Shale development and sale to Chesapeake. A CPA by training, he has served as board member and investor across multiple private energy and non-energy companies, and remains an active leader in the Dallas oil and gas community, including past service as President of the Dallas Petroleum Club.

CO-FOUNDER & BOARD MEMBER

A seasoned executive and entrepreneur with over 4 decades of experience, Barry is the former Chairman and CEO of EnLink Midstream, one of North America’s largest midstream companies, which he led from its founding as Crosstex Energy through its merger with Devon Energy. He also founded Ventana Natural Gas and led Comstock Natural Gas prior to the Crosstex management buyout, and continues to serve as a board member, investor, and advisor across energy, civic, and nonprofit organizations, including Kirby Corporation, TCU, and BetterMan.
